Rainfall Datasets
To really understand our local climate, we gathered 31 years of rainfall data across the Lahore Division, mapping it all the way down to specific districts and towns. We built this so the people who rely on the weather like our local farmers, city planners, and researchers can finally have clear, easy-to-read insights to make smarter decisions.
Aggregated monthly precipitation totals for the entire Lahore Division. This dataset provides a high-level view of seasonal rainfall patterns across the division, ideal for long-term trend analysis and inter-annual variability studies. Values represent division-wide averages derived from multiple gauge stations.
Monthly rainfall records disaggregated by district within Lahore Division, covering Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur. This dataset enables spatial comparison of precipitation across districts, supporting irrigation management, flood risk assessments, and district-level agricultural planning.
The most granular dataset in this series — monthly precipitation broken down by tehsil across Lahore Division. Covering all administrative tehsils, this data supports precision agriculture, local water resource management, and fine-scale climate impact modelling over three decades.
