About Us — Kisan & Citizen Intelligence System
Final Year Project

Meet the Developers

We are two Computer Science students who built an integrated intelligence system for Lahore Division — combining real-time weather, agriculture, and citizen advisories into a single, data-driven platform.

Acknowledgement
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our FYP supervisor Professor Asif Javed for their continuous guidance and support throughout this project. We also thank our university for providing us the platform to work on a problem that directly impacts the lives of farmers and residents of Lahore Division.

About the Project

What we built and why it matters

C

Climatrix

A real-time, multi-module dashboard platform serving farmers, residents, and meteorologists across Lahore Division’s 4 districts and 23 tehsils.

Our Final Year Project addresses a critical information gap in Pakistan’s agricultural and urban sectors. Lahore Division — home to millions of farmers and urban residents — lacks a unified platform that translates raw weather, soil, and climate data into actionable, Urdu-language advisories. We built three integrated dashboards that solve this problem using ground weather stations, satellite data, and intelligent advisory logic.

Key Features
Kisan Dashboard Real-time weather, soil health, irrigation advice, crop calendars & market prices for 23 tehsils.
Citizen Dashboard Air quality, UV index, health advisories, commute safety & outdoor activity score for residents.
Meteorologist Dashboard 31-year CHIRPS rainfall analysis, heatmaps, monsoon onset, anomaly trends for researchers.
GPS Auto-Detection Automatically finds the nearest tehsil — no manual selection required.
Bilingual Interface Full Urdu & English support throughout — accessible to all literacy levels.
Rainfall Datasets Thirty-one years of monthly precipitation records (1995–2025)
Lahore Division Shapefile Lahore Division GIS Portal, Boundaries sourced from GADM & Punjab Revenue Department
