Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue using Climatrix.
Nature of Service & Data Accuracy
Climatrix is an open-access climate and weather monitoring platform. We process public domain data, satellite imagery, and meteorological models to generate insights for farmers, researchers, and local citizens.
Intellectual Property
The code, UI components, custom visual dashboards, logos, and proprietary data models used on climatrix.org are the exclusive intellectual property of Climatrix.
Users may capture screenshots or download specific public data exports for educational, non-commercial, and agricultural decision-making purposes, provided that appropriate attribution to Climatrix.org is maintained.
Permitted & Prohibited Use
You agree to use our platform strictly for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting to scrape or extract bulk data via unauthorized automated bots or scripts.
- Disrupting the server infrastructure or client-side execution of dashboard interfaces.
- Misrepresenting climate information obtained from Climatrix to create panic or spread misinformation.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Climatrix is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not provide any explicit or implied warranties that:
- The weather or climate data streams will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate at all times.
- The server will always remain operational during severe network outrages.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Climatrix, its developers, or data contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including crop failure, economic losses, or data errors) arising out of the use or inability to use information presented on our dashboards.
Third-Party Links & APIs
Our dashboards pull data from trusted external providers (such as Open-Meteo, NASA, and CHIRPS). We do not control their backend pipelines and cannot guarantee their permanent availability or real-time consistency.
Governing Law & Changes
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws. We reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated directly on this page with a revised date stamp.
